Most of us experience feelings of self-doubt. Where we think we aren’t smart enough, we have no idea what we’re doing, that our ideas aren’t good. That we’re making it up as we go along.
At the same time, we see strengths in others, and we assign them powers we don’t believe we have. We assume they know what they’re doing and are utterly confident in their actions.
But the truth is – those folks are feeling the same things you are. Because everyone is faking it. Everyone is facing new issues, new challenges, doing things they haven’t done before, every day. With every success, there’s a new challenge ahead. A no one knows exactly what to do.
So keep on making it up, keep on faking it, until you figure it out. Everyone else is.
